This is the Rockport Yacht Club’s first year to host a regatta on the Texas Sailing Association circuit and we are going all out .We are located at 722 Navigation Circle in the waterfront area of town, adjacent to the Rockport Aquarium.
We are looking forward to meeting all of you and showing off our sailing venue in the family friendly City of Rockport.
Rockport Yacht Club will open for early registration Friday evening, August 12, from 5 – 7pm. The Club will re-open for registration Saturday morning at 8:00am. We will have our members there to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.
The Rockport Yacht Club will have ample parking on Navigation Circle for your boats and trailers. Boat drop off begins at 5:00pm Friday night. Security has been arranged for boats left on site overnight.
RYC has such a great location for viewing the Rockin’ Rockport Regatta.
Green Fleet – This event is inside the harbor. You can view the entire race from the back of our Club or you can walk out on the breakwater and view it there.
The Red, White, Blue and Laser/420’s – The best place to view these races are right in front of our Club! Again, you can see the entire race.
The Rockport Yacht Club is conveniently located near a host of activities for the entire family .We are a stones’ throw from the Rockport Aquarium at 706 Navigation Circle. In addition to the aquatic displays they have great educational activities. Make sure to look for Marley ! The best part :FREE entry
Also within walking distance is the Maine Maritime Museum (1202 Navigation Circle) ,chocked full of maritime history ,and exhibits for all ages.
Visit the local shops for souvenirs clothing art and much much more .
Best of all the Rockport beach is within sight of our Club.
